The Task:
Asset Rentals received a enquiry from the Kick Start Movement in relation to Supply & Install a used modular building. As this unit was to meet TUSLA Part L Specification & achieve nothing lower than an A3 Rating in BER Certification. After consultation with the clients & design team, Asset Accommodation then received a task order to manufacture this school.
The Solution:
Asset first began to refurbish the used Modular while also
Commencing site works, including foundations for the unit, electrical & plumbing works. Asset Accommodation supplied Kick Start Movement a Completely Refurbished Modular Building. Taking 4 months to have the units completely Refurbished, installed & assembled.
The modular building was equipped with the following:
• UPVC Double-Glazed Windows
• Fully Airconditioned Unit
• Heavy Duty Non-Slip Contract Flooring
• LED Lighting
• 165 mm insulated Walls
• UPVC Double Entrance Door & Fire Doors
• Fully Fitted Fire Alarm System
This Modular Building Consisted of 2 No. 60 SQM Classrooms, Both Classrooms were fitted with 2 No. W.C. Units, & Classroom Standard Kitchenette Unit & Double Fire Doors to the rear. Each Classroom was also fitted with their own Toshiba Air-Conditioning unit. The front consisted of a Lobby way into each classroom & a wheelchair accessible bathroom. This Building achieved a A3 BER Rating & Part L Compliance.
The Asset Accommodation Modular was well received by Kick Start Movement, they considered the Modular Building and spacious, elegant, and modern Teaching facility, which provided the pupils with modern, bright & accessible teaching & play space.
Asset received praise from the client for our efficient, professional and dedicated work in completing the project on time and within budget.
